Sharing techniques and processes I have developed over the years is such a joy.
I have run adult education classes and studio workshops, taught in FE and been a visiting tutor on a degree course - but don't take my word for it, read what former participants say on the main workshops page...
If you or your group want a tailored experience from art and design subject areas - just ask. I teach one-to-one and for small groups, 8 people max.
Likewise, if you want more information please contact me and I'll be in touch very soon
looking forward to working with you
Abstraction and Mark-Making from the Landscape: experiments in mixed media
Holy Trinity Church, Blythburgh, Suffolk
Sunday 25 August
12 to 5pm
£50 – All materials provided
I am looking forward to running a creative workshop as part of our Inspired By Becker exhibition, near Southwold, in August
This workshop is suitable for beginners and for experienced artists as well.
I have designed the session to compliment the beautiful church and its setting at Blythburgh as well as our Inspired by Becker exhibition - a contemporary take on a traditional startpoint.
The colours, textures and forms of landscape are an endless source of inspiration.
Responding to the natural and man-made environments; we'll experiment with collage, mark-making, colour and composition. Introductory exercises in and around the church - using viewfinders, drawing and frottage - will inspire you to work on large scale exploratory pieces back at the church.
Tea, coffee and all materials will be provided. You only need bring your open mind and an apron!
A non-refundable £15 deposit secures your place.
BACS payment is preferred - although you can send a cheque, if you don't do BACS
You can pay the remaining £35 by BACS beforehand, or in cash on the day
